how do i make gunshot sounds and flashes

I've already tried that with a Spider-Man figure and some fishing line. Very simple once you understand how to make it realistic.

i know how they did the pen effect. they dropped them into the container. then reversed it. THEN....they cut the seen and reversed them throwing it on the table. and they cut out the part when it hits the table. watch the direction of the pens when they come out of the container. they go STRAIGHT UP! then all of a sudden they go horizontally

I love the motivation of the youth.  This kid could be a meth addict or a politician(sp?).  I like seeing our young use their brains.  Yes, it's a cheap old school effect, but you can do a lot with it.  Keep it up kid!

Most editing programs that allow you to reverse footage also allow you to leave the audio as is.

Personaly, I like Weekend Extra precisely because it's production values are random. Sometimes we het a soap opera involving ghosts, sometimes we get that "all too enthusiastic" guy with the long hair. Sometimes some random kid shows us how to make things appear, or do telekinesis. It's really random, and therefore it's perfect.

Seriously, if you can make some short quality vids for Weekend Extra...

Pretty simple and somewhat "duh" but still helpful.  Garret: cut your hair... I totally thought you were an 11 year old girl.  Not a good look for you, bro.

I'm sick of these horrible user submitted videos. Which I guess in this case wasn't too bad. No offense "Garett" This is good to know but a whole weekend extra should not be devoted to it. And of course the test film always swoops in to save the episode.

This is also a great way to jump onto a high place. Get on top of your car, for instance, and film yourself jumping down. Then reverse it, and it looks like you jumped on top of a car!
