Indy Mogul Weekend Extra: Fake Puke

Here is my way to do it:
First you take some water and the corn thing and blend them togheter.
That makes it not that thick but it looks more like puke, and if you want it thicker you just add more oath meal. Then you add the food pieces you want and some green or orange food coloring.
if you make a funny movie use green and a "real" movie use orange.

this is why we dont give ten year olds cameras

You can also put in some green food coloring

a better way to do it is by mixing an APPLE flavour muller rice with chopped carrot.  Seriously either use apple or plain, anything else looks shite, the green from the apple works gr8 tho.

Someone else made a zero dollar vomiting effect on Youtube.I recommend that over this.

She said it was tasty.

whopee, we can make...oatmeal. seriously, vegetable soup, flour, ketchup/mustard, I used to use that to avoid going to school

what i need is fake puke that isn't actually liquid and won't stain carpets, can we get a recipe for that? oh, and breakaway glass!

The easiest, fastest, seriously reall looking puke is Mountain Do and lemon cream cookies.  Chew, take a swig, vomit.

you can add a litle vinagar for a realistic smell, it'll make you're actors act just that tiny bit better.

My god this kid is freaking 10! That aside,  if anybody needs help making fake puke they really need to think. All puke is is what you eat liquefied (sometimes more liquefied than others). Take anything mush it up maybe add a little water and kablam!

Hey guys, great tip.  Hilarious end video too, awesome.  I had to make fake puke for a film I did last year and we just had the actress chew up some Shredded Wheat cereal in her mouth, and that looked pretty gross on its own.  She needed to be puking blood though so we found this really just nasty stuff at a small Indian store across the street from our location and had her drink little bits of that to give it color... but it turned out that was pretty brutal (this stuff was disgusting, meant to be mixed with water... and we didn't).  So we ended up using the shredded wheat and cranberry juice to give it color.  The consistency of the puke makes up for the lighter color of cranberry juice, so it came out decent.

Yea, we used pizza and goldfish in our puke.

We WILL be doing some episodes to help anyone just getting into filmmaking. Don't worry!

**** I don't have a lot of $$$ to buy expensive video equipment.  Can you tell me what I should get that wont cost alot of bucks so I can start shooting?

why don't you use real puke?

for the fake puke a really good thing to put in it are chopped up cooked carrots and other veggies like asparragus and stuff.

Really you could just mix anything together and youv'e got fake vomit. But the oatmeal gives it a chunkiness

we did this it was so easy 
but it looked alot better than his 

we did use oatmeal 
basically we took 

oatmeal 
corn ( canned) 
mushrooms( canned) 
chocolate syrup 
corn syrup  
water 
corn starch 
and a lil bit o food coloring 
basically just mix it all together 
until you make it look like you want  it to

Hmm, cheaper then the stuff that you buy.

I added two drops of green and one drop of yellow food coloring and it looks even better.

i did something like this in camp a year ago. Ill give you a hint, its liquid and goes down. >_
