wow. You're up early...or late. Great episode!
Sorry Eric ,but this had nothing to do with a dolly at all. From what I know of.
Thanks Steve. Some of that will come in quite handy - it never occured to me to have to weight it down. Just got to build the sucker now.
Hey hey! First! Wait, that really doesn't do anything. Why bother?
Jeez, you gotta be quick around here!
Great episode!
The chocolate rain reference was brilliant!
Awesome episode Steve, I think this is my favorite 4MFS.
Justin are you out of town or something?
Justin actually had a part in this episode. But I cut the scene at the last minute because it required a good amount of editing...and I needed to celebrate my 21st.
oh! Happy Birthday dude!
That was a really nice episode.
I liked to chocolate rain joke.
Cause I haven't seen you in any resent episodes
Happy Birthday Steve get
and Great Episode!!
LMAO! I LOVE THE CHOCOLATE RAIN ENDING. before the text popped up-- i was so confused! I love how you called him a F***Tard, makes us mogulers feel loved :)
you don't have to lay down ply wood if you have inflatable tires just let some of the air out and it'll handle the dirt/grass a little better.
WE shot in the woods with a professional metal-based doorway dolly and we laid down sheets of wood and it helped imensely.
That could work, but you'll be smoother probobly using the wood method. Try them both out and see how it works.
loved the chocolate rain reference
Happy Birthday, Steve!
LUV U!!
Nice episode, Happy Birthday Steve.
Gold Chocolate Rain reference, had me LOLing.
cool chocolate rain reference, at first i wondered if anyone else noticed... i guess they did.
great episode!
didn't find this really useful at all, i went a different route and built a dolly that can be used standalone OR on track, great for unsmooth surfaces like carpet, dirt, grass. also easiest way to do straight aways, not so much for turns but turns can be done freehanded just like with the dolly they used. a really good trick is to start trucking (when you go left to right) a few paces before the action so you can get the speed where you want it, and then don't stop trucking until you are a few paces out of the shot you want, same with dollying (when you go front to back)
The podcast vid doesn't work!
how do you keep the dolly from makin noise that the camera pics up?
lol chocolate rain! hahahah
