Q & Erik: Production Supplies, Dummy Genetics and Faking a Car Crash

You can do a car crash like they did in Night of the Living Dead, a classic low-budget movie. Find a car with a really bad dent or scratch on one side and drive close to a tree or wall or whatever so it looks like you hit it, and add a sound effect, but make sure you don't see the dent yet. Then show the car from another angle pulling away from the tree so you can see the dent, and it will look like the car got the damage from that "crash."

Very Helpful for fake disaters-

I have a couple questions about video reference monitors, I have a 15 lcd flat panel computer monitor and I want to know if there is a way it can be used as a reference monitor during filming, are there any converters that will allow it to plug into my camera (I'm Using a Panasonic DVX PRO100) that I can then attach to a mount on my crane as I film. If not are there any good sources for a cheap NTSC video Reference monitor that I can use for filming?

you should do a bfx on how to do a car crash or aftermath of a crash; or make a test film or something. It will really help me, and im sure alot of other people too.
