Over at CNN's Community-Centric iReport website, they are holding a film festival for any budding political filmmakers out there, looking for the best short films focused around the 2008 Presidential race.

Excited about the election? Have a video camera? We want YOU to make a short film for the iReport Film Festival, an online festival of short films from the campaign trail! Your film can cover anything from a topic or candidate you are passionate about, to a behind-the-scenes look at a campaign or grassroots political organization.

You will compete for Grand Jury and CNN Audience Awards, and your film may even be featured on Anderson Cooper 360°. Award recipients receive:

  • A trip to Washington D.C. during the 2009 Presidential Inauguration
  • A top-of-the-line HD video camera
