how did you have the camera move so smoothly while trucking through the house? did you us some kind of dolly?

It was ok for me. But not the best video.

I'll paste here what I said in Youtube (just to clarify why the ending is what it is): "The ending was ment to be a slap in the face. First build up a dark and serious atmosphere, then get the audience to expect something really bad to happen and when the time is nigh, give them something totally opposite; thus leaving them wondering why they got decieved and hopefully laughing about it." Some like it, others not. Can't have everything.

The ending ruined it for me. Yeah I got that "Special Day" meant his birthday. But it just ruined the whole seriousness of the short. It was great until the end.

HYVÄ SUOMI! Näkee suomailaistakin työtä täällä. Hyvää kuvausta ja valaistusta. Loppu ratkaisukin oli hauska, vaikkakin ennenkin jo nähty. I'm from Finland and I noticed almost right away that this guys are Finns because of pronunciation. And atleast from the end titles. Cinematography was pretty well done and the end solution was pretty hilarious. Well... Here I got to do some practice for my English graduatetest (or what call it) on friday...

Caught a continuity thing, the openning he puts on gloves, but when he gets in the car hes not wearing them.

Thanks for the comments and thanks to Wes for choosing our flick. As we live in Finland (and speak Finnish which is nothing like English) our pronunciation is far from top notch. The reason why we went with English is that we felt Finnish dialogue would have alienated the viewers from the atmosphere we tried to create. I mean, if you know what Finnish sounds like you'll propably agree that bad English was better than good Finnish with subtitles.

Yea, the voices were kind of bad, but that is because they are obvioiusly not English, Irish, American, or from any other country that natively speeks English, at least I do not think so. Well either way good job. I have to say, I was looking forward to some scythe action, but the ending was pretty funny. Good job.

This was made pretty well. A very nice use of camera angles keeps this short film interesting. My only complaint really is the audio. The voices of both the protagonist and the 'antagonist' are purely annoying and half the time I can't understand what they are saying cause they attempt to speak so low that they start mumbling. Besides this though, this is a really nice job.
