So continuing with trying to dig up good "spooky" effects for you guys, I had a thought, we've spent a lot of time on how to make monster costumes and various effects, but we haven't spent a lot of time on making your monsters SOUND scary, so I found this really neat tutorial from Jim Stout from DesigningSound.org, doing a step-by-step on how he makes scary monster sounds for professional film and games using a vocoder.
