Oh really? Because I believe this to be an intriguing piece that utilizes all areas of technique; down to the visuals, lighting, acting, music, and ambiguous storytelling. 

But not everyone can be impressed by these elements, 'cus oftentiemz' the artistic merits of pieces are lost on imbeciles.

If you can't see the great lighting, use of music, and cinemetography, and think this is just an "after effects" show case, then you have no right in commenting or even watching this great short. And if you think of yourself as a film maker, then I will gladly tell you that your not, because a true film maker would see this film for what it is, great. The use of after effects on this film was great. It didn't have cruddy generic explosions and crappy digital blood. Remington used after effects for what it should be used for, which is enhancing the look of the film, be it through color correction, or what ever. So calling this film an "after effects" film is flat out wrong, and shows how ignorant you are.
