Saw this video, and just had to share it with the Moguler's here. This is a fantastic video recap of a bunch of milestones and wonderful examples of what Special Effects can do. It's really amazing seeing how far everything has come over the last century, and how far things have really been pushed. Not to mention seeing how the elements come together in the final product is just really amazing. 

Reminds me of a quote by John Lasseter that i've always liked and always felt was really true, "Technology inspires art, and art challenges the technology.”  It's a process that constantly influences and riffs off each other, and I really can't wait to see where it takes us.
