I read that Aronofsky was attached to the sequel (or rumored to be, that's what I read on http://www.squidoo.com/wolverine-2-movie-rumors) but they haven't really decided on a director yet

Why didn't you include George A. Romero's "... Dead" series

Yeah I have to agree with everyone else here, 28 days later is not a zombie movie. And of course, the best zombie movies are made by George Romero
