district 9 was the shit they so should make a district 10

prequel because I think there would be more action that way.  Plus,  what's the sequel going to be?  more aliens come back...Oh no, more aliens... It seems like the prequel would have not a lot of action, but hopefully there is a lot of action.

they so need to make a sequel takeing place on the alien planet, considering they were gone for more than 20 yr. and than a prequel, also on the alien planet

I think the ending of District 9 was indescribebly perfect.  I think making a sequel would just ruin the movie.

If they do make a District 9 prequel, I honestly can't see them doing in on Earth. As you mentioned, they already gave all the details, the only mystery left is of the alien homeworld, and why they came in the first place.

Sequel would be sweet! then maybe a prequel. as long as they are made well.

sequels, sequels, sequels bla, bla bla.  Remember when Cloverfield came out and everyone was like 'oh lets see a sequel.'  just leave it- that film and district 9 were so good because they left a lot to the audiences imagination.

there should be a sequel but eff. don't call it District 10! put something new to it.
I love District 9, but i love it in the way that i feel a sequel that follows Wikkus directly/ as protagonist would taint the big story of it. I'm thinking he plays as the wise one to young people? i dunno. it sounded better in my head :V
