- Totally odd. USA could never compare to the valor and integrity of classical Greece. Also, Xerxes was not ruling the Achaemenid dynasty at the time, Darius 1 was. He was seeking vengeance against Athens (and friendly city-states) for their lending of aid in Persia's war with Ionia. Doesnt have much to do with the Spartans and the 300, and certainly has little to nothing to do with Xerxes. But Hollywood is completely retarded so, theyll just make crap up to make it entertaining to the uninitiated I suppose.

- Side note, Cary Elwes from Robin Hood men in tights was the first English man to play robin hood in an American movie. Also Antonio Banderas was the first Mexican Zorro!
