What a sneak attack that was AWESOME tip-age from some real veterans & Ralph said F**K!!!!! This is my all time fave guest host so far. Thanks IM!!!!

Extremely cool. And very interesting tips. Doing things like a play changes the focus from the director to that actors, but that is cool.

  • ET ENTERTAINMENT/ VARGAS FILMS (guest) wrote on July 11, 5:48 pm

Don Most actually worked with my dad on a film called "PURE DANGER" back in 1996. Search that up on YouTube, there is a short clip taken from that movie on there. Really cool

This is the same exact information that Dov Simens has been preaching for years. Check out the DVD Film School - for about $300.00 DOv takes you from shooting to selling yout film. Great information for a great price.

What I find most excellent about this is, not only is it Ralph and Potsie, but they are talking about the way I like to write and shoot things. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of theatrical experience, because it gives you an incredible perspective on staging;ie blocking. Theater also will build your skills in communicating with others to get your specific vision across. Thanks IndyMogul!

Dov S-S Simens, Dean of The Hollywood Film Institute, has been teaching exactly this (90-pages, 1-Location, Keep-It-Simple-Stupid, for over 15 years with his "2-DAY FILM SCHOOL" and on his "DVD FILM SCHOOL". I should know I took the course 3 years ago and have since made four feature films that have sold at AFM (profitably) during the past 2 years. All I can say is take the "2-DAY FILM SCGOOL" or get the "DVD FILM SCHOOL" if you want the most pracical information in the shortest period of time for the last amount of money.

I also took Dov's course and it is excellent. I think you can find him either at www.WebFilmSchool.com or www.DovSimensFilmSchool.com

I took the "2-DAY FILM SCHOOL" in Paris and boy did Dov give it to those arrogant French wannabe Filmmakers but...they took it because he had the correct info.
