Are we allowed to use effects such as Action Essentials stuff or no?

Does every member of bfx need to be in the film? Or just one the rules dont help or the video or the forum. Please Zack answer this question. Its all over the forum and I need to know if I need to rewrite my script.

I seriously considered doing this until I heard the characters have to be from the 'Indy Mogul universe.' That totally killed it for me, man.

How many characters in the film have to have the same names as the memebers of the bfx universe? Some all or just one? The rules and on the video arent specific.

Not necessarily...
Creativity and a good story are all the tools you need.  Just like any big budget Hollywood film, you can spend 60 million dollars and still have something no one likes if the content is crap.  

I'd bet filming a lackluster story with a RED camera on a budget of id="comment_list",000 and edited on fully loaded (Adobe creative suite, Final Cut, Maya, etc Mac Pro) could lose with a creative/new story filmed with an iPhone edited in iMovie or windows moviemaker.  That is unless the judges don't care about story/content/creativity.

what types of war films do you mean? (im a pacifist so my movie would be anti war) but you might be looking for full on action instead

so the winner is someone with the biggest budget, and the best editing program
