hi guys i am trying to make the arc reactor and i am going to upload it to you tube in a few weeks. i  think i should use 30 leds  but i think that will be too much.

I bought a bunch of LEDs a month after Christmas, they were replacement bulbs for LED Christmas strings and I bought them for 30 cents a six pack.

So is this the new show erik was talking about? Will it be on indymogul regularly? or only on epix? Cos im from the UK so probably cant get it. Looks awesome btw!

I get my LED's and resistors from Radio Shack.

Wow I literally said to myself the other day Im going to start my War Machine Suit, but first Im going to make the Arc Reactor for a photo shoot. This is amazing Eric thanks. Oh any recommendation on LED Lights? That seems to be the only part giving me trouble locating.

Very cool Erik.  Love the show!  Glad you get to keep doing what you love and that you get to do it on a bigger stage.  Props to your props!

For easy light, just buy a clip light from Home Depot. They're designed to light up the trunk of your car, and are circular lights exactly the same size as the arc reactor. They're like 8 bucks. Build something around that and you're good to go.

Great job matching the real movie, very impressive!  My only critique would be when I heard... "and it only cost us a few hundred dollars"!? I can understand maybe hitting a hundred for this build, but a 'few hundred'? yikes.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to see more just the same!
