'Taken' Movie Review

this was the worst movie i've ever seen. Seriously. It sucked hard sucked sucked god i wish it was better because the main actor was awesome!

And he stared in The Phantom Menise, more then Who ever plaid Obi-Wan.

whoa, whao, whoa, You missed two movies. Liam Neeson was also in both Narnia movies, as Asland.

While at the video store I picked up Taken the stephen spielburg alien series, and inside the case was this movie, I was so pissed. However I didn't realize it was a different movie until the action picked up a little. Normally I would've been extremely mad, but it was a good movie, and hey . . . Liam Neeson.

the plot of Taken is refreshingly simple: "Liam Neeson is gonna beat down some people till he gets his daughter back..."

Someone called this movie Steven-Segal-esque and while yes it sorta is Steven-Segal-esque-ish Liam Neeson is a better actor than Segal. And there was no overt martial arts, just self defense. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie not because i knew the obvious ending but because i wanted to know how it happened. How was this one man going to single handedly find his daughter, in paris, with little to no leads. To go from a to z you have to know the other letters in between to fully apreciate z. The action packed story did'nt give me the "oh that just happened cuz the writers wrote it like that" feeling that always comes with movies like this. The plot flowed nicely and made me feel like i was following him around Paris. I loved it.
