GREAT^
are you freakin kidding me? i waited for hours at a time for this episode to come on this morning!!! and this is what i get?!
What more do you want? Podcast on prop making, and Erik built an animated prop. I do believe you are being simply nit-picky!
Holy crap man! THe entire show/site/concept is about hollywood-type effects for cheap. Put up your film since you seem to think you can do better.
finally!
loved it
4th?
We don't approve of 'counting' comments here, sir.
You tell 'em, Justin.
Great build! And I love the crossover. MORE CROSSOVERS! =D
The testfilm was great. Oh, and Steve was extremely funny in the testfilm =P
awesome but those were bionoculas not googles
Great choice of music. Abney Park Rules
Awesome! That was amazing. Rob and Corine did great. You should do episodes together more often. I can't download it though and I really want to.
sweet!!!! This is one of the coolest test films yet!!!
rob and corrin did a great job with this test film! i cant wait till friday
Really great episode. Rob and Corrin did an awesome job in the test film. And awesome Air ship Jared!
so worth the wait
The "We're almost there! Just a little bit more" line didn't sound too convincing, but other than that, all the acting was great! Too bad you didn't use the goggles more!
if anyone makes goggle like these at all, please let us see!
The goggles were kickass and Rob and Corinne did an awesome job. The test film was great
That was fantastic!! I'm a big ThreadBanger junkie as well so this was extra fantastic for me! Love the Steampunk!!
That was a pretty good test film, though you didn't see much of the 'binoculars'. I think a problem this one will have is that the kids on here won't get the background of a 'steam punk'. You should probably clear up the inspiration.
Ok the test film was okay but show more of the binoculars because we only saw 3 seconds of it! like the binonoculars is the effect so show it more!!! (other than that it was pretty good)
I love Abney Park! And I've been on a steampunk kick so I'm so glad you guys are doing this!
A lot of effort for the test film, but...you show the goggles for about 2 seconds. What??
where did you get the model of the ship??
i made the ship out of a corsair II yacht model and an a-10 warthog jet model. erik made the balloon out of wire and a trash bag.
Great work! The only thing is, you guys already had all of your materials, pretty much. Kinda cheap for the rest of us that don't have em but, whatever lol
loved this episode
MOR CROSSOVERS!!!
Great episode! I enjoyed the crossover and I'd be happy to see more like this where you have a theme, so you can address both props (or whatever the case may be) and costumes that work together. Looking forward to TB's contribution.
Oh, and they both did great in the test film! As did both Erik and Steve, as always!
Liked the episode but I have to second the "those weren't goggles" point. Definitely binoculars, so it would be nice if you could do some steam punk goggles at some point. Something you could strap on and actually wear rather than just look through.
There's a tutorial for steampunk goggles over on Threadbanger. It's really good, so I'd recommend you check it out!
i thought that the build was cool but the test film wasnt that good.
This was really cool and awesome, but i think karin's acting could have been a little better. But the test film was very dramatic in a comedy kind of way. 4.5/5!
well, if you think you would make a better airship captain, why don't you challenge me to combat like the ancient air pirate code dictates?!
xoxox c
he got constaPEEtad, instead of constapated. but yea pretty badass
kick ass
freaking epic!!!
i love threadbangers
im glad y'all two could find a way to merge together
MOARerikrobcorrine!!!!!!
Excellent as usual! The crossover was great! You guys are the best thing on this internet thing!
Why do you spend hours and hours making a cool prop then only show it for a second in the test film?
That's just how it is sometimes. It's like the flux capacitor from Back to the Future.
awesome! do more crossovers!
one of the best builds and test film to date... Steve was hilarious!
MORE CROSSOVERS!
More steaaaaaampunk!
Nice to see some costume/FX crossovers as well! Bravo eh wot wot!
the girl could be a little better...
Haha great awesomeness! Good work lot of fun to watch ^^ The result turned out super great also!
Sweet. I like the crossover idea. I think a bit more focus on how you hooked up the mechanically working part of the thing would be cool. And actually Steve I thought was the best part of the test film. He acted the best I think. Nice one overall though.
Absolutely great episode! Gary was the best. :D
Those are some SUPER BAD ASS BINOCULARS!!!!! You can't really wear them or see out of them though... right?
It would be cool to see a build of some wearable Steampunk Goggles....
There's an ep of Threadbanger with a goggles tut.
Great job once again - can't wait for more cross-overs. I look forward with baited eyelids. Can we have an alien chest buster build?
awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agry whit saint 13
do more steampunk and show more of the goggles and do mummy effects
great,awsome sweet episode
I am not sure who the audience was that you intended to watch the building the goggles segment. I have noticed that many of your how to have changed over the past year going away from the basics.
Enjoyed the test film. Perhaps you should consider an episode breaking down each step of putting together the film.
So they built an air ship that could run on pee...
Great job on the goggles
That was asome looking!
That makes me want to go out and build one!!!!
That test video was funny to!
Kellp up the good work!
this episode was awesome! i love the test film! rob and corinne rock! can't wait for the episode to come out this friday on threadbanger.com!
Incredible work as always guys, gets better and better every week!
Best episode EVER !
... maybe ...
ware did u get the steam ship?
steve is always awsome he is so funn :)
these test films just keep getting better and better.
AWESOME!!! good job by everyone
Fantastic And I say More Rob and Corinne In the future!
And I also think Steve should always be in that Out fit, No matter what The test film is about Even If it Takes away from the Story.
Also, Will you show how ya made the blimp?
Wow that was so frickin hilarious. I love it!! Cheers, fellas!
wtf, they didn't even use the prop.
lol that make me laugh!
Neato! Awesome goggles, me wants.
Does anyoneone else ever get annoyed thaty their "10 dollar" projects always seem to have about 30 dollars of extra stuff layin around?
I thought they did a great job as well, the test films are always great!!! I also like that the more popular indymogul becomes the better and more indepth everything becomes!!! keep it up, hey maybe I can start a brother show in CAL indymogul west coast kinda like CSI ? ? ? only thing is I woudl need some equipment!!!! if i had that I would do it for free!!!!!! love the show cant wait or more!!!
Oh. My. Snog. That was amazing. I'm new to the Steampunk scene, but Abney Park is one of my favorites. And the film? Effing brilliant. I loved it. Crossovers make life better. Keep up the amazing work, can't wait to see what happens next!
You should show us how to make Rob's gun.
anyone know where they got the cool looking goggles ive seen the ones on threadbanger but they looked better
in the next epiode can u guys make suit of the dark knight?
The crossover segment was a fantastic idea. I'm looking forward to more like it in the future. The steampunk theme was also a great idea because that's an untapped market and I know a lot of people who would love to be able to build steampunk props on the cheap. Love your tutorials guys, it really helps out with my inspiration.
Yay Abney Park! Yay Steampunk! Yay best test movie ever (so far)! Yay Threadbanger/IndyMogul crossover!!
I love that the binoculars have moving parts.
I don't think vista looked in to the show enough to see the pro mac mentality
What is steampunk? Is it an american thing because i have never heard of it here in britain?
Check Wikipedia.
I live in Canada I don't know a single thing about Steampunk
Great job on the build, and the test film too. Only thing though, Corinne(?) seemed to smile a little too much, but otherwise a great job.
I live in Canada and I /do/ know a thing or two about Steampunk. The crossover was awesome, as was the test film.
ok.so i was rong about
the threadbanger episode but where are we going to get all these crap?and how do you sopose we get all
these stuf at misalanise?oh and did you cut up the clock?
just wundering
Best Test Film Ever
Pretty cool, and I have to add that Corrine is EXTREMELY HOT!
I'd never even heard of Abney Park before, and now I'm totally in love.
o_o and Your, uh, binoculars were right awesome.
Over all this is my favorite test film to date. It was also the final motivator for me and some of my crew to get down to actually getting some of our own stuff done... that does NOT have anything to do with friggin frog puppets! (of course the frog puppets actually pays...)
Definitely more cross overs with Threadbangers.
YOU ROCK!
I think that the shopping list isn't really explained enough, Not all of us have random clock parts lying around
