Over at Apple.com they are currently hosting a great educational series with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann (Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge!) featuring behind the scenes work on his new film Australia to be released in November.
They have a lot of really fascinating behind-the-scene features, talking about every step of the filmmaking process and I definitely think it's worth checking...

The final week of Wesley's Renaissance Festival, I bring you what many of you have been requesting for weeks since I first started doing some of these medieval props, the basic Medieval war shield. Well I thought and thought about how to do this, and finally came up with an idea that I think would work and not be super expensive, so here you go, hope you enjoy it, the Medieval Shield.
Deinterlacing is one of the first tricks I learned when I began working for Indy Mogul. Although it isn't as cool as iMovie's Lightening Effect, it is an effect that will make your productions seem more professional...and less like you're editing in iMovie.
