'The Last Song' Movie Review

Oh, please Grace!  Not the popular "Disney machine" theory.  All Disney can do is offer you a platform.  But they can't make a star.  A decade from now, no one will remember Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, the Sprouse brothers, or even The Jonas Brothers.  But Miley will still be on top because she IS Awesome!  Specifically, she has advantages in show business experience, singing, dance, acting, and even production that don't just add together, but multiply to make something that's hard for anyone else to catch.  Add in the goodwill she's already earned, and the goodwill towards her family, and you have an early Laurence Olivier (who started with brutal reviews), mini-Elvis type phenomenon that will continue for five decades.  Go Miley!

the only thing is though kids are really the only other people who she appeals to. not really adults sam as hillary duff and lizzie mcguire. she will chrash and burn.

One Superstar equals one ten star movie.  Miley Rocks!

It's Miley Cyrus, so you get what you would expect, assuming you expected her to botch every line and would like her to die with every appearance. Nonetheless, I would still go to a theater with this playing than see Twilight, I just not make it out of the theater alive though.

Listen, Grace, I am so tired of this, these terrible actors who think they are some idealistic god/goddess. Bathing in their ego, they think they are so good that they want to appeal to the older crowd and eventually lead them on the brisk walk across the street to stardom. WRONG! This leads to failure and The Last Song seems like the perfect movie to perpetuate Miley Cyrus's career. What it looks like to me is that this "Mistake" crams unneeded mass amounts of Teen Angst, trying to put Miley to the test of acting in a truly dramatic situatuion (which she has tried to do in her show, but would fail horribly). By putting an Academy Award nominee, Greg Kinnear in the movie they think in could make the movie better. Therefor making a statement that says, "Miley's so good she is working with Greg Kinnear!" But then, dashing the movie by putting yet another horrible actress, Kelly Preston (who, I think plays the mother to "Ronnie"). I think Nicolas Sparks has trashed his career, conforming to the slowly corrupting  Disney and the needs of this post pubescent actress.
No I Have not seen The Last Song, that is because I do not wish to. This is simply just an assessment or a prediction of what this movie is going to be.

Ugh i am so sick of all of these disney stars trying to do "serious acting" most of them can't act and its just a waste of time
