'Green Zone' Movie Review

I saw this movie and I'm amazed at how the two young guys in the clip above pegged this bad movie and how the adults were so off the mark. Says good things about our youth. I'm 48 years old and I disliked Green Zone as much as those boys did.

Green Zone,

Terrific movie, big on letting people know what really happened, loving through it and keeping up with the news at that time.
I could not understand why the people could not see, that?
We just went and took it on ourselves to just take over this country.  And, it was okay…
America we are in 2010 this happened 2003, this movie will defiantly take the blind folds off, wake up.
Finally, a movie that I was able to enjoy and totally say, I guess now you know what I knew back in 2003.
As far as the kid, hey their just kids, and this was their honest review, I guess their parents do not keep them up to date with what goes on in this world of ours.

I agree with both of the people below me that the kids were a little annoying in that this is a film set in the real world, not the fictional world of Bourne as Greengrass has said. It's about what the Americans did and puts a very interesting 'what if' spin on the particular reasons for invading Iraq. What I disagree with however with the guys below me is how your being pretty unfair about the kids. They're obviously older than 12-13 to have had a chance of getting/sneaking into the film, morelike 14-15. It's rated 15 in the UK, is R for over 18s in the US? Anyway, it's ridiculous to assume people of the ages 14 to 15 won't be able to understand a film with a political aspect, I'm 16 but I still would have been able to understand and enjoy it if I'd seen Green Zone 2 years ago! It's not the most complicated plot ever and to be honest I'm surprised with the kids' reaction to it. Stop being so stereotypical and realise that just because they're tounger doesn't mean kids don't have valid opinions, just because you're not an adult it doesn't make you any less of a person for cryin' out loud! Anyway shockhawk, your thumbnail makes you look about 13 anyway. :P

Huh. I'm gonna go see this movie tomorrow so I'll try to post a one sentence review. I think it looks like a good movie. Those kids annoyed me though. The point of this movie is to show the bad parts of war and how we just invaded a country. If you didn't want to see that then don't watch it. They kept comparing it back to the Bourne films. This is NOTHING like a Bourne film. Greengrass can't just go around making the same movie over and over. I'm gonna like this movie and this BFX was good. Just don't interview kids please. They always seem to act different when on camera and I don't think that they can fully grasp movies and the point of them. I know that when I was ten or so, I just wanted the action and no story line. Also, what were those kids doing at a R film?
