Oscars 2010 Best Actor Nominees

Both gave their performances. Clooney has the carm to make his character likable and you care for him at the end, while in the beginning you hate him. Many people have said he has the same tone and expression through out the entire film, which isn't true, that's his character he doesn't care for anyone but him. While every one say Bridges was only drunk ( which I still thought he was brilliant). Renner just made me nervous through out the entire film. He was nuts having me on the edge of my seat. He is the craziest adreniline junkie I've seen in a film. Plus when he gets home it is funny as hell (well to me). Yet again no Viggo or Pitt.

Agreed. He did the whole film with not a single written line of dialogue. His name is Sharlto Copley

Just because he did it without written dialogue does not make him best actor. While he was good not great. Dialogue would be more of a screenplay nomination at the least.

That guy was WRETCHEDLY AWFUL. He did not try to act, and his dialogue didn't go two sentence without saying the F-word. That is HORRID acting. Why people like that movie is beyond me.
