'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' Movie Review

I know I'm probably setting myself up for sorrow, but I think Where the Wild Things are looks really good. I so hope they don't ruin such a great book.

Hollywood derailed the Polar Express

These guys must not have been paying attention. First of all there's an obvious message of "being yourself" (with Sam going back to looking like a "nerd") then there's also "doing what's right" being more important than everybody liking you, and the third one (a little more subtle) would be not to be greedy (with the mayor eating everything and only caring about himself). For the parents, there even is the message to make sure to show love to your kids, even if they're a little odd or aren't exactly how you'd like them to be. I thought the movie was a cute adaptation of a book I loved as a kid, and had a lot of quirkyness to it. The animation style was really cute, too, it reminded me a little bit of "monsters v. aliens"

Hollywood ruined Eragon. I guess it's more of a teen book... but that movie SUCKED.
