'Inglourious Basterds' Movie Review

Brad Pitt? Dude, Christoph Waltz was freakin' AMAZING! And IB is an awesome film, and I must say I don't quite understand any of the critics the people in this show said. "Not realistic"? I don't really know what's unrealistic in this movie except the ending (I'm not saying what happened, so I don't spoil it), but I must say I'd be very disappointed if it didn't end like that. And that guy that said it would be offensive? To who, to Nazis?! It doesn't offend Jews, it doesn't offend Germans, it doesn't offend anyone. Just none of these make sense.

"what would you say to people who are going to see this film? ... go see a more realistic film" Yeah, cause the whole Nazi regime would NEVER happen. And there was never ever any plots to kill the Nazi high command. Oh, the Jews are made up too.... Idiot.

Whoever the lady was who said she gives QT a 3 has obviously just gotten out a thirty five year old coma and doesn't know a thing about movies.

what happened to your amc images during the one sentence review it says media offline. What happened? did you guys forget to put the images in the bin???Tisk tisk. Just kidding

killing Hitler is something Tom Cruse couldn't do so we left it to the Inglourious Basterds to fix history. 10!

10/10 Great performances, great directing, engaging story, and great entertainmint THAT'S A BINGO!

Quentin Tarantino proves once and for al that he is the all time master of a cat and mouse. His best movie yet.

ONE SENTENCE REVIEW: This film is well worth the money it had suspense which only parallels would be the Good the Bad and the Ugly with scenes that are powerful acting performance and iconic shots as Casablanca it is packed with historic flaws but the beauty of this film cover them up it still measures up to such timeless films it has reflects.

Don't go to this movie thinking it is a standard WWII movie that is grounded in fact. It is not at all. It's a WWII Fairy Tale. 8/10 Inglourious Basterds is a WWII fairy tale which delivers everything you wanted to have happen in a WWII movie, With great character development and outstanding dialogue. Attention QT fans: Since QT movies can't really be compared to regular movies, here is my analysis. The movie is very well done and on par with Reservoir Dogs, I give it an 8 because it really can't compete with QT's perfect 10'/10 Pulp Fiction.

The sense of humor was along the same lines of Kill Bill, and it was surprisingly less gory than a Tarantino flick usually is; I give it a A- because there were some scenes that should have been cut (you'll see what I mean when you see it). If you really like nazi jokes and sh#% blowing up then you'll love it as much as I did. ^^

I liked the Final Cut Pro "Media Offline" indicators in the lower thirds at the end of this review.

From any advertising I'd seen, I was expecting this film to be an action flick about the Basterds. But even though they were almost a side note, this film was quite wonderful. Just don't expect to see the Basterds too much.

Inglorious Basterds doesn't hit a home run, but it does hit hard enough to take down some nazis and hopefully the box office! 7/10

9/10 A movie about a band of Jewish-American soldiers trying to take down the Third Reich one Nazi scalp at a time mixed with Tarantino's use of brutal violence and witty dialogue makes for one amazing movie.

8/10 Tarantino once again proves to fans and critics alike that he is the reigning king of dialogue driven films with his stylized spaghetti western take on the cookie cutter WW2 movie.

Overdone only as Tarantino can overdo, the dialogue, acting and cinematography were top notch, but I think Christoph Waltz takes the cake for best acting in the film.

What I love about Tarantino's movies is that he leaves the audience in situations where they're not sure whether to laugh at the incredibly disturbing incidents he creates in his movies, and that's exactly the dilemma I found myself in as I watched Eli Roth's character gun down Hitler. 8 out of 10
