Oscars 2010 Best Director Nominees: James Cameron, Kathryn Bigelow, Quentin Tarantino

I'll tell you who's missing, Duncan Jones. His first film had me more involved and pondering than Inglorious Basterds and District 9 combined. (Then again. D9 was awful, so how could anyone comtimplate anything?) Either way, Moon deserved Academy Gold, if even only best screenplay.

Best 'Supporting' Director?

Tarantino or Bigelow for sure. While I think Bigelow made an amazing film it lacks a little in the story and depth. But thats just me however Tarantino directing was beautiful. The story, the depth, just everything in it. You can tell around the end that he just push everyone aside ad did everything himself. I wouldn't be shocked he took over the cinematograhy. It was his masterpiece. I just hope because avatar made 2 billion bucks the academy decides to give it to him. Okay well I hope the oscars will surpise me this year and one more thing where is JOHN HILLCOAT for the road.

I'd like to see Kathryn Bigelow win it.  Hurt Locker had a unique style with how it handled the suspense moments in the film.
