'Monsters vs Aliens' Movie Review

I wonder if the dvd will be in 3d as well. It would be disappointing if it isn't.

The poster isn't so bad, but it could be better.

Does the poster really matter? All the people who are obsessed over star trek are gonna see the movie no matter what. Its kinda like Apple. They got fanboys that would jump off a cliff if they were told to.

I have to agree that the poster does not make me want to see the movie. I don't anticipate it drawing in big numbers at the box office, especially with contention from Monsters Versus Aliens. I enjoyed the interviews from the two kids. It was interesting to hear the perspectives, and the little girl (the one that the movie made her feel better), was soooo articulate. Very cute.

Hey there, Indy Mogulers! Yeah, this episode turned out particularly well - perfect mix of interviewees! Plus we did that Poster Debate on the fly, so I was happy to see it come together nicely in the editing process. Seeing Monsters VS Aliens in IMAX 3D myself tomorrow night...

Things I love: 1. Grace Randolph, duh! 2. "Are they saying that women can't take direction?!" 3. The Dad raising her daughter to be a feminist, "They can save themselves" also having a conversation later with his daughter about war 4. The cute little girl rooting for Aliens. 5. The kids in general, they are so darn cute. Though I guess there weren't many kids for Watchmen or Friday 13th

I don’t like the poster. I’m not a trekie (though I do enjoy the good episodes) but I’m excited for the movie because it revisits iconic film characters. John is right that there should be a focus on the characters however they’re unrecognizable, and as Grace said they’re B-acrtors with little appeal. The image has zero to little pull. The poster should hang on what the audience wants, and in this case it’s Cpt Kirk and Spock in an old school uniform and the classic Enterprise being built. This way people know what the movie is about and with that comes the hype the movie rightful deserves.
