If your SN says anything about what you film and how you film it, I think you're doing FilmFights a great disservice by not taking part. You could theme all your films around zombies, no matter the challenge! Take this most recent challenge as an example; I can see a zombie having a pretty lonely Christmas...  Good luck to you!

Yeah, we used a boom + shotgun mic. Problem was we couldn't monitor the audio, so we ran into some issues.

Gosh .... the HVX is pretty good. I'd probably want to save it up and wait for a great DSLR that shoots video though.

Thanks Justin! I was gonna go with an XL2 but it's standard definition only... I think holding out is the best thing for me. Oh and a little late, but congrats on the engagement! I showed my girlfriend your video, HUGE mistake, that set the bar haha. Keep bringing out the good films!

this stuff is good but you need the expensive camera to use it. but the random Fx were good and fun

No offense, but you probably should have figured out how to do all those bloody things before making the movie.  Anyway, search around the 'net.  I'm sure you'll find the answer somewhere.
