Hey nice effects but I don't like the movie story line. It's just me I guess. :|

what is up indy mogul, i'm kind of new to watching bfx and those fx are the best fx i've ever seen in my entire life, i was wondering if you could show how to slit a throat?

- Put a small layer of liquid latex over your actor's neck, then when it dries, peel it off and paint it to look like the inside of a throat. Make another layer of latex to the side, using more liquid latex, attach the two parts to make a bag with one side open. Attach a string with super glue to the inside of your bag, on the far side. Fill the bag partially with stage blood, then seal it with the string poking out. Attach the prop to your actor's neck, use makeup to blend it in, and when he is having his throat "slit," have the other actor pull the string. This will rip through the latex, spilling the stage blood out and revealing the inside of your actor's "throat." I hope that helped.

- Buy a gag arrow-through-the-head prop. Paint it to make it look more realistic, then hide it in your actor's hair. Film the other actor letting go of the bowstring, then quickly pan the camera to show the actor with the arrow having his head knocked back. It should look pretty realistic, and if any of this is confusing, refer to the "knife throwing" episode of BFX.

- Look up a program called Jahshaka. It's completely free, easy to use, and has tools for almost anything you'll need to do. Hope that helps.

- Buy a cheap plastic sword and spraypaint the blade silver. If you need to, you can paint the hilt. The sword should look pretty realistic, and is light enough to be easy to choreograph fight scenes with, and it won't hurt anyone if you hit them with it.
