Very Good. Very Good. Personally my favourite out of all the audition films, great use of humour, very educational and entertaining. Test film could be a but shorter but i quite liked it.  He's got my vote.. if it counts and you haven't already chose a new host...

this is a really funny video, and it's a really cool build, and also, can you make a video that you show us how to make those weird puppets from that music video of the Myriad "One clean shot" you know the "bird wolf" looking puppets and if i find out i'll tell you.

Funny, informative, totally together and even though it took until the end to see how it was a radial dolly (we were never really told, just a quick flip and presto there it was), totally awesome. Add a few alignment strips on the splayed arms and we could even define the radius for each location

if your picked can you make a predator mask, bio mask, gauntlet, and suit plus the dolly genius

he's great, but the test film was a little long....but he's great :)

I thought the Radial Dolly was cool, and the presenter was okay. With a little work, he could be very good.

This is one of the most practical rigs I've seen on here, and definitely the best value (how much I'll be able to use it vs. what it costs).

Not bad. A very practical piece of equipment. I don't think he's trying to hard to Emulate Eric. But he's definately trying to maintain the vibe of Eric's version of the show. I'd liek to see a few mroe from this guy.

I'm making my first movie soon and am greatly inspired by what is done on this site, as a matter of fact, its what inspired me to be a filmaker. I was wondering if you could help me though, i would like some tips on making a jekyll and hyde make up effects, just subtle changes like the eyes and the teeth are okay, but for the face and hair, im kinda stuck.

You could also add an additional screw and attach through the base plate attachment.

Awesome tutorial he was a little cheesy at the beginning but it got much better.

I really like this guy. He's got tons of character, fun to watch, knows what he's doing, and provided us with a tutorial that we can really implicate.

This is great!  I agree with the people down below about the lighting being great, has a good sense of humor, and he sounds like he knows what he's doing!  I think he would make an (almost) perfect new host, but nobody can top Erik.

This episode rocks not only in practical DIY but also presentation. Hey. meaby you could hire all your favorites to give the show some variety. *pause* Wellllllll, meaby just one is better, it would just be too many cooks in the kitchen. But I liked this one. ;)

this guy was funny, I felt like I was watching a real BFX episode (you know what I mean). though his test film lacked focus.

I like this guy, he's funny.

Overall I like this guy, he definatly has enough filmmaking knowledge to make a quality episode and the charisma to keep me entertained.

A bit forced, but I liked that the build looked sturdy and practical. He gets my vote simply because of the Mr. T picture on the table. Yeah, I noticed that, and it's awesome.

Interesting building, wished it was bigger though.  As a host he was good.  A little too much humor.  What I mean by that is that he did a good joke but kept pushing the joke instead of just getting on with things.  A couple of nice quick quips and he would of had an excellent episode.  I think he is on par with the first guy.  Though the test film wasn't the best.

Love the confidence! You don't wear your whiskers as well as Erik though, but everything was really awesome!

He was good and kind of funny.  The test film was good too. Was the dolly full size, because it is quite low to the ground.  Over all rating: 3 stars.

Good Job, test film could be better. But overall, I'm impressed.

Nice work Dave! I know there are many more audition episodes ahead, but you really did a great job! Any issues that people may have mentioned will be easy for you to work out with a little practice. Good luck!

Great idea for the build, very useful to whomever, great lighting, but his humor was a little dry and not so funny . . . plus the test film to me at least did not demonstrate the full potential of the dolly let alone make very much sence . . .but all in all good job, and kudos for steppin up to the challenge

I thought it was very good!  Funny jokes, charismatic, though the test film dragged a bit long.

i found that the test film kind of dragged on but he was a good host and it was a good build. and for one of your last builds please make an m41 a pulse rifle from aliens thank you .stay frosty

This guy is the best so far. He was funny but that would get old if he did that EVERY episode. My suggestions are be less funny, insert a little bit more of yourself into the builds, and make the test films more quick and direct. I liked this one but it drug out for a long time. Best so far though!

it was pretty dang good, but i kinda feel like the mount he did could be achieved in a little easier way and done maybe a little bit better in his test film. The test film was pretty good, but aa little to much dead space in between things

Very decent. So far he has my vote. Well put together, clear instruction, and maintains the tone of BFX. That being said, I would like to see him putting a bit more of his own personality into the show. It was like seeing him playing the role of Erik, rather than being himself as the BFX host. Some of this I think came out with his mounting suggestions, a little more acerbic and sarcastic. Test film is a bit mediocre, but honestly, to me that's the least important or interesting portion of an episode anyway.

So far he has my vote.

I like the first guy. He reminds me of the younger Erik we all loved. The Erik from the heart rip episode, before the motorcycles and the beard. I liked that Erik. (Aware that you can't change, Erik, & no offence.)

The "jokes" on the show weren't funny and the test film was aweful. But the build cool and the quality of the video and structure of the show are very professional.^^
