i'm a viewer from the beginning too, and well i think that is a shame that erick is not going to host any more, he is realy funny but he said that we will keep seeing him around and well, is not a reason to stop watching BFX it just be refresh keep hope! dont be that negative!

Too bad all these so call fans that are bitching that this is the death of BFX and Indy Mogul, and who aren't willing to give a new host a chance, aren't mature enough or at least haven't been exposed to life beyond living with their parents to work a real job and get along on their own. If they were they would understand that you Erik, are overwhelmed with your responsibilities as IM grows along with NNN. Guys, it's not an easy job, if you truly are a fan of BFX and Erik, then cut him some slack, he doesn't have to do anything, but he loves this and wants to do what's best. If he thinks that someone who has more time to devote to BFX and making it up to his standards of quality, we should trust him. Saying you'll stop watching isn't going to change his decision, nor does it show that you are mature. At least wait and see how it looks before you decided to stop watching. If it sucks, you're justified.

I am stunned.  I guess it is 6 more episodes before I tune into something else on Mondays.  BFX and Weekend extra are what brought me here and BFX is the only show that is worth anything.  Well, RIP BFX!

wow, indy mogul has really gone down hill, i always come home on monday and go right to my computer to see what BFX has created, but in this last year you all have lost your originality, two complicated and not as creative, eric himself has compensated for that, and now you are asking for a new host?... you have lost an original viewer...(i have been watching since the beginning)

Now there is probally gonna be someone like the ghostbuster build kid running BFX and screwing up everything. Please dont go Erik just take a break or somwthing.

Erik, you are the best part of BFX. You have a great sense of humor and I would hate to see you go. I don't think anyone can replace you. If you're stepping down to focus more on making Indy Mogul better, then you should add more shows actually related to filmmaking instead of all the crap that keeps coming out. There are millions of film review and update shows out there, but not enough on filmmaking, so make it so BFX isn't the only show worth watching anymore.

Good luck with the new host. They'll definitely need as much expressive attitude and ingenuity. That's the tough part as not many think outside the box like you did.

From a personal stand point, Congratulations. It's awesome to see that IndyMogul is getting that big. And I think it's awesome that you, Erik can take a step away from producing the BFX show to oversee the whole IndyMogul brand. I've been watching this show since episode one and I've always referenced it, and suggested it to others.

On a fan note it will be sad to see you go. I love what you bring to the screen. Most notably confidence. Finding another host that isn't afraid to go out there and do it will be hard. I also like the idea of a fresh host. It gives an opportunity to yet another fledgling film maker. It shows how IndyMogul remains true to its roots. While I have no ambitions of leaving my nice house in PA to live in NYC I do hope that the next time I get patched through Erik's desk he'll take me up on that offer to get some drinks.

Good luck to IndyMogul and the search for the new host. I'll still be an avid fan.

Erik, I've been watching your show since 2007. I will definitely miss you hosting the show. you're quirky personality and creative mind is what made the show so entertaining and it gave hope to ammateur filmmakers like me. I knew this day was coming, and I'll admit, I will probably slowly lose interest in the show but you're a busy and ambitious guy. I just want to ask you one favor, please pick the new host wisely. don't pick a twelve year old who is making toy spaceships out of macaroni and shoe boxes in his or her garage. Pick someone who is as talented as you are and is sincerely commited to the job. I would like to thank you erik fo all you have done. You have inspired me as a film maker and because of your show, I am the vice president of my school's cinema club, i've been on MTV, my movies have been presented to local film fests and my next film will be premiered in LA this May. I am interested in majoring in film in college and I have reccomended your show to many of my friends and other aspiring film makers. Thank you Erik to your contributions to the indie filmmakers, and I hope Indy Mogul lives on.

The Reel Good Show just plain sucks, as I'm sure many here will agree.  It's nothing personal with Bobby Miller the show is like a waste of time.  If I was Eric Beck I would make BFX bigger and better and give the new spot to Miller.  BFX and Eric Beck is what started the Indy Mogul fame, why ruin a good thing?

Obviously Erik, and the rest of the IM crew feel that this is a move for the best, and it's happening whether people like the idea or not, so the best thing to do is support the decision and get excited for the changes to come! Think about it, one of us might get the chance to experience all that Erik has and more! It wont be some yuppie who has no idea what they are doing, NNN has to make sure they get and keep viewers. So give the new host a chance. With more time to devote to improving Indy Mogul Erik could take things to a much higher level! Look out world!

Well Erik, I know we will all miss you, and I really hope that you find someone that will be able to fill your shoes well.  And to all the people complaining, this WILL fail if you don't at least give the new host a chance.  Go into this with a positive attitude!

Well... I don't know... I definitely think that Erik is a great host to Indy Mogul's BFX and I will definitely miss him, but at the same time, after tons of episodes, I can see why Erik is feeling overwhelmed and wants to focus on one thing. I think that building Indy Mogul up and making it even better is a great idea! The "Try Outs" for being the next host for BFX sounds fun too. It's going to be a TON of work for the winner, what with jumbling it around with school/work and making a "good" build every week. Oh well, it's a big change but I think that it will work. Once you get past the initial shock then it's fine. (heh, shock... get it? like, as in... ShockHawk? aaaah, never mind...) It would be fun to be the next host. I'm going to try out for it. The only problem is that I don't know what people would think of a fourteen year old hosting the show... Good Luck to All!
