This was the best build ever! I made mine and it's drying right now, The only thing is it's very time consuming to put the masking tape and newspaper on, But I'm very pleased with this build! I was in need of a fake rock for a film where my actor gets hit on the head, And we were just going to use a cutaway and some sound effects, But then I saw this bfx episode, And we can really drop a (fake) rock on his head!

You guys are awesome. This is the best site EVER! Im only 16 but you've helped sooo much with my homemade films. But i do agree that there's too much movie related builds...year one, watchmen, terminator, etc. while a lot are useful, i think that the builds that could only be used for THAT film specifically should be passed, like the rorschach costume [even though it was awesome!] Also, ive been looking on google and pretty much everywhere for a prop pump action shotgun[preferably what ejects fake shotgun shells], could you guys help? thanks.

You know the simple basic builds are pretty important also. How about the sorts of stuff you would have in a "Mad Scientist" lab? Like using the big plastic bread trays used as fake metal grating - I think Ridley Scott did that for Alien...or not.

Nice build!  But how about an alternate rock (made of foam rubber)?  This build seems best as a standing prop, but may injure the talent if used to to land on them/ hit them.
