Hey BFX nice tutorial. Speaking of space, I would DESPERATELY love it if you guys would make an episode on how to build a prop Caster Gun from the Anime, Outlaw Star. It would be amazing if you made the shells, and a way for the gun to open and load the shells

I agree, Indymogul has changed a bit and its not as interesting as it once was. Change isnt always bad, but in Indymoguls case doesnt seem to be working out. Erik, why not bring back 5 minute film school? That was awesome. It doesnt always have to be complex builds, this is a site about film making too...why not have a spot for that? Also I know Indymogul is free and all but I hope everyone knows that they DO GET PAID. They need subscriptions, they get paid via the marketing all over the website. Without the viewers there is no money, and no show. So yeah its free to watch just like regular T.V. is...but the viewers are making them money, keep that in mind. =] Anyways I love the show, I hope that you take what i said into consideration and all the best and goodluck!

Ok, honestly people, chill out. Aight? Indy Mogul has been very loyal to us and its obvious that they are trying hard to bring us better, more professional looking stuff, so let them be! So what they did a redux episode, at least they added something to it. The other FX shows are cool cause we get to see our stuff posted on the show for many to view and we get an in-depth look at how the stuff we are trying to replicate is actually done! But Erik bro, seriously, don' t get too complicated with what you do. For example, all of the wiring that you do is pretty intense and not everyone will get it... But either way, just keep up the good work and don't be afraid to go back to basics Erik, like in the Golden Days of BFX. Small projects are fine and they've helped a lot of people. Keep up the good work! and dont listen to the whiners of the net, you guys are awesome.

Wow, I know people have already said this, but stop being such bitches! Indy Mogul is free; but I guess that means nothing to some people who just expect everything to be free and brand new all the time. I'd like to see all you fuckers not only come up with a project every week but on top of that pull it off properly and have it be really cool. And as if that weren't enough, post it free online to try and help a bunch of ingrates who will just call you an asshole! Most of you people complaining don't even have an original bone in you bodies anyway, the only reason your crappy movies have any FX whatsoever is because you found out how to do them online. Why don't you show an ounce of initiative and try creating something on your own and see how it works out instead of taking the lazy way out!

You know what... if you need to do a re-run or skip a week so that you have time to do a really good build by all means do what it takes! Frankly I'm surprised you don't get slammed with everybody elses builds- air those while you are spending time polishing the Indy Mogul builds. Don't worry Eric- you still rock... a bit...

now I've been a fan of indy mogul for about 3 years now and I've used countless builds in my films, but come on Eric. You're starting to get pretty lazy man. Hollywood FX, Your FX, whatever other FX you're throwing into crap. I realize that BFX is pretty hard to do, the builds are usually fairly complex and take some planning and preparation. But you don't have to fill in planning time with crap that about a third of your audience will enjoy, or with simple "Re cuts" of old builds. We want new things, even if it takes a little longer to release I'll be patient anticipating a new build instead of attempting to be stimulated by the same crap shoveled out again and again.

Cool. I haven't seen that episode in ages. It was nice to have it all stuck together in one episode two. Plus I am so SO psyked about the watchmen 'SPEZIALE!'

I for one don't have a problem with this episode, In fact I rather liked it. I do however feel that anyone that does complain is a whiny little bitch.

God stuff but the redux's need more... redoing. Something new in them while keeping the main idea.

Honestly, I think you guys should just alter the schedule to 2 shows per month outright so that you have more time to prep the builds and they can be more detail and awesome than they currenlty are. For example, the Gun Weasel episodes, awesome as it was could have really benefited by being a bit longer. I'm not saying I'm not going to watch the Hollywood Effects shows. They are cool, but I think it's apparent what brought you to the dance. Old School BFX Builds, Yeahhhh! Rock on.

It was cool, at first i thought, crap, another redo sort of thing, but i really enjoyed this. Thanks Indy Mogul, but i wish we would have went just a little more into it, if you get what i mean. It was still awesome though! Thanks again IndyMogul

I hope this was a redux so there is an awesome Watchmen special, unlike any other episode yet. I'm really excited for that one.

Dear lazy and angry people, THIS SITE IS FREE. These people make their living doing this stuff and have worked hard to bring a lot of content to this place and find ways (sponsors etc) keep it free and open for everyone. Please stop blahblahblahing about more builds and moremoremore everything when frankly you should be taking the lessons you've learned in the previous BILLION episodes and figuring out how to do it your damn self.

I'm just here to put in my two cents. First of all I agree with yoshicoto, I came to indymogul to learn how to make things. The new schedule limits that and well it's just plain confusing. Second, there are plenty of podcasts are able to put out a show each week. If indymogul needs to then should cut down on the number of shows they produce each week. More quality less quantity. And finally if you had just called this a Indymogul classic and not tried to hide that it wasn't new content I, and many other people, would be less pissed off.

First, cool seeing a redux of these two builds. Second, there are a lot of whiners out in "internet land". So what if they put up a redux of two old builds. Like Eric has said in his comment post, it is hard work to do a new show every week. I mean hell, they aren't freaking machines that can push out new stuff on demand. Besides if they don't take breaks and time to come up with stuff, then the stuff they would put would be crap. So everyone just freaking chill.

Why couldn't you just tell everyone to look back at the spacesuit episode?

Hey everyone, I just want to say that we don't like doing re-runs either. but we have some really cool stuff coming up and it's really hard to make a new show every week. Especially when it includes a whole build and test film. Just try and remember that we've been doing this for almost 2 years now. That's a long time to be making a show almost every week, without season breaks or anything. Please just have a little faith everybody. It's not like this is going to happen all the time. Just when we get in a pinch.

so while this was a good episode, there isn't a reason to re air it. If you plan to show a previous build I'm sure everyone would rather see behind the scenes footage, or tips and tricks that may relate.

I always look forward IndyMogul every Monday, but I'm pretty dissapointed. There wasn't even any new footage. I don't mind you saying, "Hey, we're busy this week, so enjoy an IndyMogul classic", but assuming that this is as good as new content is not the smartest move. I love you guys! Don't let your standards fall! REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!!!

i saw the old episode. althought i think make something new was nicer. I also think this was nice and it is fun to see old things rebuild, and its cool for the''new mogullers'. ps where do you get plummers apoxy and this trailer looked a lot like the old testfilm pps may i recommend saying to the mogullers to look in the argieve and to the crew to make the button whit video back on the site
