Green Screen on the Go Build

One point that should be made is that some muslin green screens come with a loop sewn into the top end so that a rod could be slipped through.  Don't know yet how that might affect construction.  Just found it out as I unrolled my material, but I can see how it might affect how you measure your length.

I just wanted to build a diy green screen stand, and got a pretty good basic intro to green screen as well.  This is the reason the Backyard FX will always be fondly remembered.

I don't know if you guys know this, but this episode is 15 minutes long, and if you scroll to the end you can hear Alan K and some other people talking and doing promos for other shows. haha, just found that funny.

cool. Is there a cheap and easy way to make ur own fake guns other than  buying cheap plastic toy guns. unlike America Australia is not aloud to have toy guns that look real so if you guys could show me how to make fake guns that would be awsome!

Could you show how to cheaply make a live cast of a person's face. I would enjoy seeing that especially now that you've listened to the fans and gone back to explaining everything further. I have been a long time fan of the show, so I figure if anyone can show a safe and cheap way to do it its indy mogul.

Great video guys, i just recently made 2 prop wepons made from PVC old airsoft gun parts and some carboard They turned out pretty good but i dont have a camera to post a video on here. Also when Halloween was over i bought tons and tons of fake blood, pints that were .00 were now id="comment_list".00 and smaller ones for 25 cents got any ideas on how i should shed some blood on my situation? I was thinking zombie but dont have enough friends/people willing and i have no story line. I do live in that *zombie perfect* Town that is small and away from everyone. I was just wondering if color temperature made a difference in how you light the green screen?  If I used daylight fluorescence on the screen, but more orangey clamp lights on the subject, would it look weird or would it still come out fine?

Great build, I think i'll be looking in to building one of these for my photography, rather than my film making, as my film making is usually me just chatting away to the mic :D

Great job! A couple months ago, I even painted a wall greenscreen shade green. Now, the best key I've been able to get has only looked good when severely downsized. I think the problem might be my camera's resolution? I've used a MiniDV JVC camcorder, with little avail in AE CS3 or Premiere CS3. I also don't think I've been lighting it correctly. In the video I was thinking, "Yes! I'll be able to see *where* they put the lights!" Nope. Where should they go?

I just noticed the picture before you play the video, the girl in it has, green on, that'll be pretty hard to key out! haha.

Okay indymogul, I don't mean to be annoying but I don't think this is really needed, It would have been better to have this as a weekend extra or something, I would have liked to see a build that showed you some cool effect instead of how to prepare effects
