Decapitation Effect

Instead of cuting do a ripping head of effect like from God of War III

can you make a wire cut effect from cube 3?

can you make the string cutting from cube3?

also make a head splatter affect like in doomsday

To make the dummy more alive someone could hold the dummy and then slowly lower it out of the shot after the decapitation to make it seem that the corpse is falling to the ground.

if you were making a horror/action film and your actor was to shoot a head and make it blow up or splat, with brains and blood all over the place. Like the profesonials how would you do that.

that was kind a long test film, rambo a superb film though

My birthday was on January 25th and Rambo is probably my favourite movie series of all time, so how perfect is that?! My only birthday wish was to see Rambo and I saw it. And it was INCREDIBLE! I loved it. Good job on the video, too, guys.

So AWESOME!!

Super Spatter effect- Remove Balloon. If you just put enough blood in the tank to fill the line up to about an inch from the end- or the end- then close valve. Leave a cup or two of blood in the cannister and pump it as full of air as possible- then when you hit the release the blood will have a high pressured spatter/spurt effect rather than fountain- then just reload and shoot another take to edit together later. And if you can get a sheet of plexi glass, or clear plastic to hold in front of the camera- get in close so you can have blood running down the screen.

^Slow-mo is WAY overused. Anyway, I thought this week was awesome. Much better than I was expecting. These test films are always so funny. Keep it up guys.

I would've liked to have seen a slow-mo of the head chop in the test film... It went too fast.

Nice, we did something similar way back in the day, but the balloon is a new touch, and pleasingly clever :). But the way it was shot didn't really show off the effect. So, 30 points for the build, -5 points for use of shakycam.
