Unfortunatley the country I am from charges way, way more for special effects supplies alginate can be fourty to eighty dollars for a small amount and my last bottle of latex cost 45 dollars I wonder how peter jackson made his first film without blowing the budget on makeup effects.
It's so expensive here in New Zealand oh yeah good vid's though keep up the good work very inspiring if I had a zillion dollars

  • Wipeout Productions wrote on November 2, 3:12 pm

    please do the invisible man

  • Wipeout Productions wrote on November 2, 3:10 pm

ERIC, you have to do the invisible man next mogulween, anyone agree

  • Dinoslayer wrote on November 2, 11:39 am

The effect was graphically effective but not truly plausible by the way the skin stretched when being pulled back as a human(whether alive or dead) would need immense force to just tear the skin off. There's very few humans around with jaws that strong. Aside that a succesful effect test.

Anyone who's up in arms about the language in this needs to crawl out from under their rock a bit more often. It's the 21st century people, and the effword always makes things at least 10% funnier. Much as it did in this case. Hilarious film.

  • indymoguler (guest) wrote on October 30, 8:08 pm

oh yeah, amir was gnawing on you earlier.
    SORRY! lol

  • stevensj123 wrote on October 30, 9:16 pm

The way he said "SORRY" was the funniest thing I have heard in weeks!

  • portman wrote on October 30, 8:43 am

Since when did you guys feel the need to become such cockteases with your test films?

  • S-Man (guest) wrote on October 29, 1:19 am

Great test film. One of the best written ones ever!

  • stevensj123 wrote on October 30, 9:15 pm

    Definitly!

  • ionfilms wrote on October 28, 10:25 pm

WHOA! Language! Nice effect I'm definitely using this effect.

  • Aspiring-screenwriter-pat wrote on October 28, 7:37 pm

Looked great. If there's one thing Indy Mogul knows, its gore efects.

  • Mr. Jess Strawberry wrote on October 28, 6:08 pm

Hey Indy Mogul is there like an E-mail I can use to contact you because when i try to on here with the contact us button it doesn't work.

  • ghost (guest) wrote on October 28, 4:30 pm

Hands down the unfunniest, laziest test film of all time.

  • stevensj123 wrote on October 30, 9:14 pm

That test film was not lazy! Lets see you act-out that exact same test film exactly how they did it! Alot of effort goes into the videos they make so shut the **** up!

  • Skullz77 wrote on November 1, 11:12 pm

    lol, agreed

  • ghost (guest) wrote on November 3, 1:42 pm

If I was to 'act-out that exact same test film exactly how they did it' then it would be just as lazy too, Dickhead. I know how much effort goes into making something like that; it was the idea that was uninspired. At least you had the sense not to challenge the fact it was unfunny. Very wise.

  • edwardlavender (guest) wrote on October 28, 4:25 pm

every test film should be directed by jake and amir. because they're fucking brilliant.

oops did i use too much harsh language? SHUT THE FUCK UP.

  • Super Cameraman wrote on October 28, 4:05 pm

Woah, I know Jake! He's from my town! I know his brother! I forgot he was at CollegeHumor...

  • SeatonStudios wrote on October 28, 4:05 pm

I liked how the bite turned out, but I agree with 2184pro. too much harsh language.

  • JadeMunky wrote on October 28, 3:03 pm

I thought the effect looked cool, nice and gruesome and the film itself was great.

Planning on making a zombie film over xmas so will have to try this effect.

    Cheers :)

  • BlueDudesStudios wrote on October 28, 2:55 pm

    nja dont liked this one.

  • Rayne Creations wrote on October 28, 12:26 pm

not the best film... horrible audio, cool effect though.

  • knyazprime wrote on October 28, 11:52 am

Okay, now that I see it in action I take back my "good but not great" comment. Very, very cool. This new format with the guest directors is really working well I think. I see what you meant about the skin being to thick, but hey that's indy film making!

  • uti2008 wrote on October 28, 11:42 am

    "Shut the Fuck up"
What great dialogue for a site visited mainly by kids...

  • uhrisuh wrote on October 28, 1:06 pm

Since when did they start installing internet under bridges?

  • 2184pro wrote on October 28, 1:39 pm

I could do without the harsh language, too. It doesn't add anything to the video.

  • S-Man (guest) wrote on October 29, 1:26 am

Get over yourself- whether or not kids are old enough to hear that stuff, should be left to the discretion of their parents, it's not the responsibility of indymogul.

  • 2184pro wrote on October 29, 10:13 am

True, but I always thought "South Park" was funnier when the bad words were bleeped. I think the same would be true here.

  • Skullz77 wrote on November 1, 11:10 pm

have you ever seen a college humour video before? they swear all the time, and its funny as hell, lol, go to youtube and watch some of their videos some time, it's pretty awesome.

  • S-Man (guest) wrote on December 1, 7:46 pm

    you are wrong.

  • 2184pro wrote on October 28, 10:44 am

It's a good effort, but it isn't my favorite test film. It has a rushed feel to it. And skin doesn't stretch like that. I thought the bite would be tighter.

As always, though, keep 'em coming. Love what you do, Indy Mogul.

  • Cityscape Pictures wrote on October 28, 7:59 am

Man that was cool, i love the zombie episodes!!! Reminds me of the original Day Of The Dead with all the juicy bites :)

  • Loosewire wrote on October 28, 7:14 am

The rip is really awesome, like a massive wad of chewing gum on your shoulder being biten of by an in.vis.ible friend ....I've had better analogies!

  • otrobutcher wrote on October 28, 2:00 am

Great Test film.. the efect looked really cool .. Amir can be a really creepy little guy.

So was up with the "its a little tick but we get to that later"... or you where talking about the extra effort that Amir had to do to get that thing ripped???

Anyways .. great effect .. and great last mogulween episode!!!

  • ErikBeck wrote on October 28, 10:26 am

Yes! The skin was too thick! I was going to add a segment into this episode but it felt awkward, so I am going to release a vidblog later today that explain in more detail. THANKS!

  • Mike (guest) wrote on October 28, 1:21 am

First, effect looked pretty cool. Can't wait to try it for myself.
