Hi- If you can do this i want to know how to make a explosion without any cam tricks or green screen or anything. I need it to be cheap because I am only 9 years old. Please do it. -Kai
well its very hard to get a reall looking explosion, especially when your nine, what i would do is get a bit of white powder and a bigish black drop and out the white powder in the straw and blow out, and then use "screen" effect, with the black background ou should get a perfect matte. or you could just head over to detention films .com and use their pre made ones and i suggest using the ones that have a black background.

I said this once, and I'll say it again. In the very beginning and at the very end when your explaining the tips, behind you are guns, and I have never ever seen you have an episode telling how to make those. I thought it would be so cool if you could tell how to make the guns. I've been seeing them in a lot of episodes. So please please! (make an episode about them) Anyways, brilliant idea Erik. For the camera, it gave a perfect pro effect. Good Job!

the hidden blade from assassins creed would be cool, and the same mechanism could be used to build things like wolverine claws or predators blades. Awesome. I liked how descriptive the supertimelapse was and hope that this is the future of BFX. I would also be interested in different types of breakaway environment, like bricks and etc. not just a cardboard wall...which was cool by the way. Thanks you keep building and I'll keep watching and get others to show their support too.

That system looks real practical. Ofcourse you're right, regardless of the effect, it's the head of the effect's maker that matters the most.
BTW If my cam breaks to this rig I'll sue you all in England!

as much as i like the gore, its cool to have an original BFX. Feels like the first season.(Can't wait to get started on my own cable-cam!)

the little car-explosion scene. It's cool, kind of a return to the little promo spots indy mogul had when it first started out.
