holy crap that is freakin awsome!!!! i really need to start trying this stuff out but unfortunately i dont always know where to get the stuff to make it eg i have no idea where to find liquid latex. ooo oo another thing could irequest u guys show us how to make halo weapons now you guys said nothing about halo weapons only halo armor ;D but it would be so freakin awsome if you guys showed us how to make the covenant armour or how to make someone look like a flood lol but thats ok u dont have to make any fancy covenant armour or flood suits lol anyway thanks for showing us this video it was sooo cool loved it

If you guys want Ironman and GOW COG suits, you can use Pepakura to make these. The lancer... will be a hard build, so you may be better off buying the NECA Lancer off Amazon. www.sculpt.com sells Aqua Resin

you can use that design to make brute armor and use the sasquatch outfit for fur and mask ( i would make the brute mask a bit different than the sasquatch)

I actually fervently argued against halo armor, but I can't say its not sick to see something like that for only $100. The principals are useful for other builds too and it exposes viewers to a lot of great resources for related builds.

Also this pretty much covers gears of war armor. In fact you could probably use a similar system to make knights armor.

Is there an Aqua-Resin alternative? From their website it doesn't seem to be available in every state.

isn't fiberglass really bad for your lungs though?... does the aqua resin seal it in and make it not as itchy or would you want to add something else to it to make it safer
Having clothing between you and the armor is a good idea, and always be sure to use proper safety precautions. I would use the safety goggles and mask like in the show. My precious lungs prefer not to have fiberglass embedded in them. Once the armor is completely finished the fiberglass should be safe, but always, always take proper precautions.

dude, im only 13 tooo but if you do it a different way as say print it out put it together and hardenit with papermache then paint it it wont cost 100 dollars. it is just itll be better if you harden with fiberglass and resin.

It is pretty durable, but I would still be careful. It helps that the armor is "distressed." A lot of the damage you do by using it looks like that is how you meant it to be.

That was possible the easiest and most efficent way to make Halo armor that I've seen yet, and I've looked around a lot.
In fact, I'm surprised I didn't find it before. I thought they were going to do a more complicated method.
