Ciwi is right about the HVXs, and the build is actually not that loud. Depends on the screwdriver you use though.
And yes, bigger and better things are on their way for IndyMogul, but the FX will be as cheap and doable as ever. Glad you guys like it, and keep the comments coming, we love to hear what you think.

The episode was great. but I can't wait to see the test film tomorrow.I might be able to make this gun but I have to shoot my films at school and they have to be apportie.which means no guns,blood,and violence etc.

The Halo Armor is coming later in the season, we're doing a special episode for that.

This was a really great build. And the overall video looked really nice too. I love creepy mood lighting. But I still think a drill bra would have been better...
I kinda miss the old opening song. Maybe combine it with the cooler new intro movie.
I did like the new style but come on!!! I want my test film on the same day, the show really doesn't satisfy, even with the trailer.

Hey! Love the show, season 2 looks awesome! I'm curious about the $35.00 price tag though. Frankly, I don't have free wood, foamcore, film cans, or skateboard wheels lying around, which realistically raises the price for most builders. Alternatively, could you provide some tips on the show for where to find these things for free? Thanks!
Instead of using film cans, using lids from old pots or even a frisbee if you can figure out a good way to drill holes in it. If you make the gun smaller, you can use lighter, less expensive and easier to find materials like plastic bottles instead of what is suggested in the film. Also, the wood doesn't need to be a plank. If you have an old baseball bat that you can shorten or a chair leg, those can work too. All you need to be able to do is attach the L-bracket to it, and have it be strong enough to support the weight of the gun. Be creative and remember that thrift and dollar stores are your friends.
awsome build, but i liked the old intro. you should see my extended one on youtube. ok on to my fx request. i want to see if eric can make a bubbling skin effect on an actor.

I'm glad BFX is back.
I noticed the "Trip-2-Hollywood" on the brand spankin' new wheel. I hope you aren't setting it up for the next season finale, because I think that that would be way too predictable. I thouroughly enjoyed the First Season Finale, but come on! Don't do the same thing again. I'm just a concerned loyal fan.
They will probably use it if they actually go to Hollywood for some reason. Remember how they went to Sundance in season 1.
pretty sweet. With the size of those barrels its more like a rapid fire grenade launcher then a mini gun. Oh well who says thats worse?
Is it just me or is this build supposed to have a slight Grindhouse reference.
more like "the machine girl". nice, trashy movie but nowhere as good as pt from grindhouse.
even the testfilm trailer looks a lot like a scene from the machine girl. youtube for the trailer of that movie (beware, extreme gore).

YAY!!!! Season 2 is definitely double the awesomeness. The new layout is great but I do miss the intro theme music, this new one just doesn't have that oomph that the old one had. But Lee's video intro is SICK!

I loved the new show format. The intro was awesome. I like the new testfilm ideas too.
I really like everything except I noticed the new wheel has a 100$ slot that frightens me a little. However the tuesday test film and the new look is really good. Thank you guys for helping me survive my momday yet again :)
also will this build have build plans because I was also a little lost on the whole motor assembly

New opening isn't best and WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE TEST FILM? An episode isn't complete without test film, trailer and all.
I like the use of a trailer! I plan to incorporate one in my film. I always end up with cool shots that don't fit in to a sequence. Can you say MONTAGE?! Rock en' trailer! The films nice too.

all the anticipation payed off! this was freakin amazing! this is something ive been wanting to build for ever, and the indymogul team made it all possible. cant wait for the test film and the rest of the seson

I like the build, sad about waiting for the test film, not too happy about the new opening song, but like the video. Overall I'm looking forward to season 2.
I'm guessing that "trip-2-hollywood" will be for when they go to pro FX shops like they promised.
I'm currently working on a way to make this a working rubberband arm gatling gun so it actually shoots things. 'll keep you posted if I get anywhere with it. (But with how classes are going in college it's likely i'll not finish this. :( )

Season 2 has started off with a bang. This new season is going to be amazing. Like the new intro, but the song is lacking oomph. love the end credits. Test film looks awesome too!
i agree. the old song had more pizazz to get you pumped. this intro was a little weaker.

hey this really inspired me, as soon as i saw this, i rode my bike to the hardware store and bought as many parts as i could, the only downfall is the black pipes are about 3$ a feeet, how much do you think ill need? im guessing one foot, but ill let you guys know what happens

You guys rely too much on "scrap" stuff. I know you're trying to keep it under budget, but implying that they can make that gun for 35 bucks is pretty lame.
