great idea!
Lets have on location Wednesdays!
Maybe if there were three Eriks, sadly, only one.
Kewlio!(( Third Comment! Woopwoop!))
Woot! Crazy stuff on location, I'm loving the idea of actually working with an actual film, that's awesome. Shows you the FX are actually THAT good that they'd work in an actual film.
Awesome jorb.
jorb?
5th!
goddanmit you ruind the whole comment page
Its like Pimp My Ride
I think
Cool
sweet! i quite like this bfx on location!
it is cool!
Woah. So awesome. Great job.
Yes!
Fuckin' Film Fights!
This was awesome. I loved the real world application and I really want to see that short film.
I recognise the director from Justins "Holiday sweater" song :D.
Great show guys!
Great Job!
Amir and Streeter, Two Of my internet addictions(Mogul & CH) come together!
MY mind is blown!
Also Streeter looks weird with no beard.
I had a chance to be a PA for this film but I couldn't go cause I had a 15 page term paper to write. I'm gonna be smacking myself over the head because of this for the next few years.
I'm liking where Indy Mogul is heading.
the budget blood is too light
Nose bleeds are often fake looking though.
Next time you have one look at it.
nice effect though
Nice work again. I love the shows you guys do, highlight of the week.
o my god i have two questions first is can you talk more about the injecting in to nose cause that sounds weird and were can i see the rest of that movie
Great work, but how much does the fake blood stain the skin? I noticed the actors face was quite red after.
justin called streeter two days later and evidently he was barely pink anymore...
hey if your in illinois! you should hang out with me!
Honestly, I think IndyMogul has been slipping away from the special effects and going more towards film education, which I'm not really to happy about...so to see this episode with the bloody nose effect was a really good thing. Good job Erik!
Well, look at all the crap on YouTube now. Very few people know how to properly make a movie, and I think it's great that Indy Mogul is showing us how to write, film, and edit our films. Sometimes, you just don't need a guy's head to blow up, you know?
i prefer the old style of BFX but still a good idea. Maybe alittle of both sometimes 1/2 and 1/2
sweet! that was insane, in a good way.
$60 on a big cheque HAHAHA sorrry Eric, butg it would probably help out BFX a shit load if you got thousands of dollars.....holy fuck you could make like a giant monster with that money or something.
This is probably my favorite one
I made a video inspired by this

check out the video i made after seeing this episode

hey where does one obtain a "blood pump" ??
..bummer about the giant novelty check man
You really shouldn't use that kind of fake blood on location. It looks as fake as to ruin part of the film. What you should be using isn't that corn syrup-crap, but a completely other recepie.
Mix water and flour, add red food colouring, then add some soya, blue and yellow (yellow is necessary) food colouring. Boil it up on the stove, and check every once and then for consistency and colour correction. Correct the colour first, then boil it upp to the desired consistency.
The result is an extremely realistic fake blood.
I think the point, though, was to get large amounts of blood, quick and cheap. Boiling up 10 litres of soy sauce doesn't sound like much of either.
I just watched the happening and i want to now how to make a stping the neck with somthing look real
So, where can I find one of those pumps? I want to do vomit...
where is the test film
