1st!
omg, how come it be so early today? : O
Anyways, SOOPER COOL! : D
Oh my god thank you sssoooo much jared. i've been waiting sooo long for this episode to finally come up, and YES STEVE I WILL WATCH 4 MIN FILM SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY, IT WILL BE SO AWESOME
too bad you can't use it outdoors. :(
You can, but you need something smooth for it to role on. Just put some rocks or bricks down, then put some plywood on that. If you are affiad of it being in a shot, just paint it green then use the chroma key to edit it out. It works great
This episode was a fail. I love this show normaly but this one I do not see as usefull and is a waste of money. It's too bulky, can't transport, and can't be used outside. Did the test film really have to be written? Like was there a skript? OMG Fail. Hopefully MR. Nelson will be the saving grace as usual.
Long Awaited and WELL worth it!!
OMFG 2 girls one cup NASTY
BAD ASS
BEST EPISODE IN A WHILE!!!
BAD ASS
ERIC! You know this means you have to do it again right?
Great episode Erik Can't wait to build one these suckers!!!
You don't need meat for a prop sandwich.
Fun project, how does it compare to getting an old shopping cart or wheelchair though? (That might be cheaper?)
You could use the wheels off of shopping cart or wheel chair, if you have one laying around it would be a much cheaper build.
cuz you know how everyone has a spare shopping cart lying around
cool
THAT IS AWSOME!
Pretty nasty design! Looks solid, sturdy, and easy to use. Grat job guys, and I loved the test film!
That was the best test film EVER!!!!
great epidsode very helpful
nice simple design, you forgot to mention what the eyebolt was for (I know, bungee cord/tie your tripod to the platform). I have some rollarblade wheels I could use for it instead of the pneumatic, I know it won't be as smooth as them but it's all I got.
Definitely have ampathy for the hard drive situation. Interesting that your dolly is free moving, without a track. we were able to build something similar for use with a track.
2 Girls 1 Cup...dudes.....just, eurgh :p
Loved the excited scream in the dancing robot scene :) I want *my* brain put into a dancing robot *sigh*
You guys are too funny. And to think you actually get paid to act that way.
Justin, nice to see you again.
whats the voice mail question?
ugh lol a 2 girls 1 cup reference.
what type of tripod are you using there?
WE just bought one of those things they use in garages to slide under the cars as a dolly! and it only cost £12(like $20)!
2 girls 1 cup = just plain wrong
Hey prop guy, you dont make friends with salad
What you could also do is go to your local thrift store and see if you can find an old wheelchair. I got on for $15 and it works pretty well.
Great episode but, where is the meat?
I'm a bit of a tool head myself and take interest in your design. Although there were some choices I was curios about. Granted I couldn't see the wheels all that well, but I'm surprised you didn't go for a soft rubber wheel, rather hard (Quieter and better for outdoor use). Also, if some people use thinner ply wood they may need to add some reinforcement. Also, really cheap steel 90 degree brackets could be used instead of cutting up another 2x4. I plan on looking over those plans though. If I come up with an enhanced design, how do I submit it?
Don't forget to include the Vertigo shot with the dolly. It's one of the greatest moves.
ahhh our dance moves were tested in this video, but I just can't outdance a dancing robot! and "prop guy" is Bobby Miller, the director of this awesome test film.
You could have saved that $50 and just used a shopping cart.
Shopping carts (unless you steal them) cost a lot more than $50.
Hey, come on, that's not stealing! I have to pay like a euro to get a shopping cart.
I have that robot!
you could also use a wagon to simplafy (sp) th base
yeah!! COLOMBIA!!! haha
this episode was very funny =P
hey eric werent you in an obama girl video once
im getting tired of the 21 commericals >:o....how would u make a dolly for like offroad? bigger wheels?
I want to know how to create a neck wound like you would find in sweeney todd or kill bill. Please help! btw, u guys rock!
hey i jsut lost my tripods mounting plate anyone knows what i could do to replace it?
Go to hard ware store with you camer. Find a screw that will fit into the hole on the bottom of camera. then screw that screw throug a peice of scrap wood. Trim/Shave /sand the scrap wood until it fits into your tripod. or screw it and buy another one.
This was great idea and for a low price also. (The dolly that is). :)
sorry that i didnt comment that early but i love this dolly but im actually going to make a smaller one
hi
i have spring break in about 2 weeks and a project from ur show to make and i chose the stopmotion effect the only problem is that i don't know how to make a stopmotion movie.can u help me out.
Hey, I also have that robot! Also, I've always wanted to see Indymogul make one of these!
Could you use instead of a dolly thing one of those carts that you use when you are to move heavy objects that are kind of small and fit into weird places. Please respond underneath
Erik, I am in love with you. I've been dying for a dolly design you have just saved me a lot of trouble. Excellent episode! I can't wait to put this into use!
Prop sandwich boy seems charming :)
I loved the test film!
Yay! Rob and Corinne!
my Prediction is near, one day Indy Mogul and ThreadBanger will merge in to Thread Mogul and the shows will be , the Corinne & Rob's Fabrical Fashionation, BFX Of Blood,The steve and Justin Power 1/4 Hour, and The weekend Rotation featuring Guest hosts.
And it will be good, Oh yes, it will be good.
Also if My Dream(literly it was in a dream)comes true I do expect to be mention in the credits!lol
Great Ep!, Can wait to see the New Ray next week!
You need major work on your audio. The levels are all over the place. Other than that it was amusing
very nice
GREAT TEST FILM!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA
