  • TickleMeHellmo (anon) wrote on January 14, 10:19 pm

Nice one Eric! I've wanted to make an evil dead chainsaw hand since I first discovered Indy mogul.

  • Aspiring-screenwriter-pat wrote on January 14, 10:21 pm

That was actually pretty cool. It would make a good prop, and to show actual cutting you can cut away to just the blade of the chainsaw. Plus the principles behind it could help for all kinds of hardware body parts for sci-fis and horror films alike.

  • legendarylugi wrote on January 14, 11:22 pm

Woah, one of the best results and best test films yet. The chainsaw is really convincing, all things considered.

  • DJ Andy wrote on January 15, 1:07 am

Hey!! Nice episode. Really realistic... oh, and by the way. Did you really destroy that MacBook? Cuz I heard like a crash, bam noise when Steve dropped it. Anyway... cool.

One thing that I really need and that I would LOVE if you do is a Predator suit, with armor, helmet and weapons and that good stuff! I've searched online for suits but either way they are ugly or very expensive! Would really be gratefull if you did a episode about it.

Great build, however I am wondering if you have place on the forums somewhere where you have the build plans? I understand time constraints for the super time lapse, but its hard sometimes to get everything out of it.
    Thanks!

  • Rustair666 wrote on August 24, 10:59 am

I love this episode, but do you think that you could have some more detailed plans than that?

$30 Evil Dead Chainsaw Arm

Do you love the "Evil Dead" series? Do you need a prop chainsaw? Do you have $30 burning a hole in your pocket? If you said "yes" to any of these question you'll want to watch this episode. Erik shows you how to make a prop chainsaw arm that will have Deadites running for the hills.
