dont forget bones sticking out! just duct tape a barkless stick half the size of the broken bone to the limb at a 25 degree angle, paint the nose putty and the bone stick white and stick that over the tape!

  • Pull and Twist wrote on July 15, 7:41 pm

That's awesome... and great for the budget. Also, if people didn't already realize it... you can use other materials then toilet paper under the latex to give it different texturing.

My method for making realistic wounds is similar and can be seen on instructables; http://www.instructables.com/id/E1YPIGRF44XYTFC

  • steve beaver wrote on June 7, 7:42 pm

another great effect for hanging flesh is balloons, just get flesh colored, red, blue(for veins) and even black. blow them up and let them sit for a day or so and then pop, apply with the liquid latex(alot of it) and it should come out looking like tissue and muscle ripped from your body

  • Dari_ra wrote on June 7, 6:44 pm

    hey Kyle Surowicz,
you could use the same concept to create your zombified skin
and you could get the fake blood tubes at costume shops,
but i'm not sure how to make it gushing without ruining your toilet paper...

  • Dari_Ra wrote on June 7, 6:41 pm

    Ep. 4 got me hooked...

  • Ondwey wrote on June 7, 6:13 pm

yeah, you should definitly do a stunt episode cuz "real" stunt pads cost 100+ bucks

  • Kyle Surowicz wrote on June 7, 5:36 pm

ARGH! I wanted to do something like "Zombie Roomates"! DAMN YOU ERIK, DAMN YOU *tear* Oh well. It's a bad arse tutorial and I'm sure with how much I heart Zombies and their movies, I can come up with something.

This is hands down the coolest (and cheapest, how much does this cost in Hollywood? $10,000? And you did it with like $10?) tutorial I've seen on how to make zombies! I will have to give this a try FOR SURE!

...Something I never knew you could do is make fake blood with chocolate syrup...
