Weekend Extra AND Four Minute Film School....both totally awesome, maybe they should kinda take turns if that makes sense, to satisfy everyone.
Oh and i like that guy that did the weekend extra, effect was simple but the way he used it and also the way his whole submission was made was just awesome!

  • QMurphy (guest) wrote on June 8, 12:47 am

That's a really cool effect man, good job.

    Any suggestions for metal ricochets?

  • Sproductions wrote on June 21, 8:58 am

Go into an editing program and make the metal flash where you want the bullet to ricochet and add a pwatwang!

  • AspiringMovieMaker wrote on June 7, 10:41 pm

I like that you guys put in another viewer submission that was cool

  • ChristopherJ wrote on June 7, 6:37 pm

Above tip sounds interesting, will have to try it

  • Androom05 wrote on June 7, 4:45 pm

What I did for bulletHits Is I bought pasta shells and I put flour in one pasta shell and covered the back by gluing (with elmers glue) another pasta shell to the back. With this set up, my crew and I, now could throw these shells at walls and it would look like a bullet actually hitting a wall. the only problem is that you would need to make a bullet hole in post with photoshop. The cool thing is that the shells acted like chunks of wall and the flour as wall bits finely ground into a powder :P

    great stuff Mogul team!

  • astalapitjes wrote on June 6, 2:07 pm

to be honest i was thinking how to pull off an afect like that today, its seems simple but efective
    still have 2 questions
how would you do it on the ground, like when somebody is runnig from gunfire and the bullets make the sand fly up
    and second question
how do you geth that color in your video, it looked cool and gave it a nice mood

  • bridboyross wrote on June 6, 2:46 pm

check out one of the earlier Q and Eriks for the sand from the ground trick, also you can use party poppers for this same effect; just take out the first disc and the confetti, then fill it with flour and pull it.

  • ace24 wrote on June 6, 2:03 pm

Awesome simple effect, I also missed the live Q&Erik, when is it going up?

  • Jrobmovieman13 wrote on June 6, 6:13 pm

  • thepunkesh wrote on June 7, 1:35 am

i hope there's a reorded version, because i couldn't participate. there was nothing on the page besides the heading...no way to participate.

  • magicallee1 wrote on June 7, 3:23 pm

after the show, they left the audio on accidently and you could hear them discussing that they accidentally never recorded it, but they hoped that someone recorded it on their home computer and posted it

  • Nonsensical studios wrote on June 6, 1:36 pm
